Why do I even still have hope?

lol, so the title is a little Emo-ish.

Basically, things are going rough, I think I am starting to figure out how to actually race bikes...finally. I have a ton of work, nothing is going right for me now though, everything seems to want to shit all over me. However, I geuss I just have to put my head down, keep on going, and hope that my beliefs are true.

ugh...I want to go home, and I have 4 weeks left.

UVM race this weekend. It will be good....but hell. It's supposed to snow.

I miss....things. I wish they would be the way I know they could.

Only the stuff that matters.

Hey yoooooooo

Yeah, so a lot has happened lately, I'm pretty beat and haven't updated this thing in a long time. But anywyas, to give a quick update here's what is good:

1. I have a necklace made out of my own wisdom teeth.
2. I can ride rollers. no handed. one footed. whatever you desire.
3. I ride the rollers a lot....10 hours this week, with 3 days to go and 9 more schedualed riding hours left.
4. I did a 7.5 hour trainer ride. 126 miles. it hurt a lot. I can't ride the trainer ever again.
5. I switched coaches from Vassili to Aidan Charles of CCNS. I'm pretty excited, hopefully it will go well, and I am pretty confident I made the right move.
6. VT is COLD....one day it was -25 with the windchill
7. I have White Racing Jackets with gold lenses. OH SNAP.
8. Scott, Jim, and El are in NM. Pussies.
9. I have no money.
10. RACING starts in 4 weeks(ish)

Thats about it. Perhaps I will update more often. The evidence would lead us to say no...but whatever, mayeb I'll get bored.

Canada

So I;m up in Canada for new years, nothing too exciting. I'm here skiing at Mont Tremblant, and it's ok skiing, but it is very cold and crowded on the mtn. I skied a full day today, then came home and went for a 25 min run. I wouldnt ordinarily run, but my legs didnt feel the day of skiing at all, I think it's cause they got a lot stronger last year, and they didn't feel sore or tired at all at the end of the day. Anywyas, the run was good, and When I came home I promptly had a good canadian beer and two glasses of red wine on my empty stomach. To Sum it up, life is good, I feel good, and I will update soon!

So Im home for thanksgiving. I know I havent been updating but now I plan to...or somehting like that. lots has happened....upgraded to a cat 2, racing for Highgear again, doing a little bit of cross, and school is going well. I got a great job in VT at the Skirack, which is a giant run/ski/bike shop in burlington, and it rocks. More will be coming, but for now, he's a cool pic.

Back in the B'Tron

Ah, so I'm back in the F'ing Burlington. It's good to be back, my dorm room is pretty much the hottest thing ever and my neighbours are Will Dugan and Alex Grause, so I got that going for me. Class Starts tommorrow, which won't be fun at all but whatever. It's weird being back without certain elemetns of last year, like eric and telemarketing, I sort of miss the things that aren't here right now, but Oh well. Hopefully going out tonight while I'm good and young before Green Mtn, and after classes tommorrow I am looking forward to getting a solid 3 hours in riding.

and Btw, Vassili Davidenko is the shit.

Saw the old guys, Scott and femia, etc, which was great. Hung out with Driscoll, he's a fucking great kid, even if I'm not sure what that punk is on. Whatever it is though, I want some too. He rode 180 miles yesterday. For the hell of it. Fucking freak.

And some poeple still just don't get it

I'm all jacked up on Mtn. Dew

Today was ridiculous. I went for my ride, which actually turned out pretty good, but even that was crazy. First I saw Rafael and like 8 Northeastern Hardware guys riding...and Rafael was leading them. Wearing a NYC Mets Baseball hat. On a ride. It was out of control.

Second, I'm riding a long and I see a lemonade stand with some kids, so I give them 2 bucks and ask for some lemonade, and even though it was only 50 cents I let them keep the change. So I go back on my ride and I pass a driveway, and tucked away on the left side of the road behind a bush is different lemonade stand, this one selling lemonade for 40 cents. I laugh and keep riding. EXCEPT....another 100 feet away on the right side of the road is a THIRD stand, this one selling lemonade for 25 cents. I honestly couldn't believe it.

So those two events made my ride. I got my new sidi's, which incredibly hot, got my new 'cross tires, my fork comes in tommorrow, I get a fit tommorrow with the new shoes, and I leave for UVM on saturday. I am very out of form right now so Green Mtn is not looking so hot, but you never know I could get lucky.

In any event, Im going to bed.
